Eyedropper has disappeared EOS Utility, 90D body

My 90D is is connected to a microscope and images are viewed in live view mode using EOS Utility 3 on a Win 10 64bit computer. I used to be able set white balance by moving the frame displayed on the EOS Live View image to the desired area and then toggling the icon to Eyedropper style and clicking. A few weeks ago this function seems to have disappeared and I haven't been able get it back. I can still use the WB shift option but the eyedropper was so much more convenient and useful. Could anyone explain what has changed and how to restore things? Thanks

Greetings,

Maybe this is what you are looking for.

See setting white balance.  Be sure you haven't hidden this option from view.

Sorry it has taken so long to respond and thanks for  your link to the manual. The image in the manual for White Balance tools illustrates precisely what I'm missing in my systcaem. I used to see and use the eyedropper icon for sampling white balance from a spot on the liveview image, but it has disappeared. I recently watched the Canon videos on using EOS Utility 3 and it shows the white balance eyedropper option too. My version of EOS 2 shows it also, but it doesn't recognise the 90D.  Could it be a setting in the 90D that I inadvertently changed?
Thanks for any ideas,
Michael
