I shot some footage on an R5 using the newRF5.2mm F2.8 L Dual Fisheye Lens and am trying to edit it in PremierePro using the EOS VR Utility Plugin for PremierePro. I've installed the software 3 times, I have a trial subscription for the software and I can't seem to get it to run. I'm wondering if it because I'm using the latest version of Premiere that has you load files into a timeline before it opens your project? It appears that the way the plugin works is to modify the file as it is imported then those changes will show up on the clip under "effects control". I'm not seeing anything under effects control other then the standard controls for Immersive videos. Any advise would be appreciated. It doesn't help that I am new to PremierePro so it may be user error.

So figured out the problem. The Canon VR utility for Premier does not work with the new Apple M1 chips. Ugh!
