Hi there, does anyone have a solution to this problem?
First, EOS Webcam takes up more and more CPU and the fan start blowing hard. This happens whether or not the camera is connected
Then, once I use it in Google Meet, the view freezes after what seems to be a random while (more than 15 minutes. I haven't timed it precisely)
This software has been shaky from the very first day. I had to run a (random) sequence of multiple "connect / disconnect / restart cam / restart the utility" steps for the camera to be recognized, but at lease once it was working , it was working for that day. This was befor Sequoia when it broke completely as you all know. Version 2 made it work again but it's still not usable. My T3i is now a brick. I'm forced to use an alternative webcam (Logitech Brio). Honestly people are telling me my view looks better with that than with the Canon and I'm starting to give up.
I'm using a MacBook Pro with 4 USB-C ports (2 screen, one mic, one for the camera)
Core i5 2Ghz, 32GB RAM
Any help (from Canon ?) would be appreciated!
