EOS VR Utility Feature Requests

Hello, I wanted to list out my feature requests for the EOS VR Utility in the hopes that Canon is able to implement them.

  • Support for exposure adjustments on Canon Log footage from the EOS R7. I sometimes choose to ETTR (overexpose) my footage in Canon Log, but the EVU does not let me correct it before exporting for Spatial Video
  • Support for raw still images, especially for the EOS R7
  • Support for exporting ISO 21496-1 still images from the aforementioned raw files
  • Support for exporting HDR PQ spatial video from Canon Log 3 footage
  • Support for still images that have been upscaled in a third-party program, so that the resulting output of EVU is higher-resolution.

And while I'm here, I might as well mention my feature requests for the cameras themselves:

  • Support in full-frame cameras (R5, R5 C, R5 II, etc) for the RF-S7.8mm F4 STM DUAL. I understand that it'll be cropped, but I feel like we should still be able to use them
  • Support for 1:1 frame guides in the R7. Right now, there's only 16:9 and 8:9.

Oh I thought of one more thing, this is actually one that I think is very achievable:

  • EOS VR Utility should maintain all of the EXIF data of the input into the output
