EOS Utility "Camera settings" greyed out

Hi there,

Trying to access camera settings on a 5D Mark III (to change the owner and artist name) and the menu is greyed out.

Connecting via USB to the computer (the computer can recognize the camera 100% - I used EOS camera info V1.2 to test it).

I tried changing between camera and movie modes, as well as M and AV...

Any clue what might be causing this?

Thanks

You may need a complete do over. Disconnect the camera

Try uninstalling that info app, and rebooting. Reset the camera back to factory defaults. Uninstall and reinstall the Canon apps. Reboot and give it a retry.

Are you manually sgtarting EOSU? I don't see a number after the EOS Utility title in the header.

Try selecting EOSU3

Also, it seems like only one app can talk to the camera at a time.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll try this out when I'm back home during the weekend. I'll update you if I got it to work.
