I have followed all instructions for connecting my camera to my IMAC and I cannot get the EOS utility to come up. I am curious as to what to do. I was able to download Canon's "Digital Photo Professional 4" and Canon's "Picture Style Editor." However, when I plug the camera into the IMAC, I expect the EOS utility to come up automatically but it doesn't. Was I supposed to download the EOS utility somewhere from the Canon Website? My camera is the EOS Rebel T3i.

The EOS Utility is a separate download, but I don't think that there is a version that works with new mac operating systems and your older camera. You don't need it to transfer pictures to your computer. You can use an SD card reader plugged into your computer's USB port. You may also be able to connect the camera to your computer via a USB cable and use your computer's file system copy files to the computer from the camera, but I would recommend the card reader.
