EOS R6 Mark II, Lightroom editing matches and presets don't work

Tiffanyl2121

I had been using a canon EOS r and perfected my editing. I upgraded to Canon EOS R6 Mark ii in the beginning of the year. Well now none of my editing matches and the presents don’t work. They colors and everything. Is there a way to fix this? I don’t want to start over

What software are you using Tiffany? Do the unedited images from the R and R6 Mark II look similar? Please review your post and clarify what the issue is.

I am using Lightroom classic. Not sure what you mean by similar but when I apply the preset to the new images they turn pink and white balance is off. Everything is off

The two cameras have a different response to colour for a start, so there might need to be different sets of presets to get them to match. Secondly if your current preset uses one of the older process versions, it is possible that it is not well suited to the more recent camera. I would check one of your EOS R images and look at the Calibration panel to check the process version. Then if you apply a preset to the EOS R6 Mark II images, and the process version is changed from Version 6 (current) to something else this could be the cause.

It should be relatively straightforward otherwise revise the preset, or create a new version for the EOS R6 Mark II to achieve similar results.
