EOS R5 C & Dual Fisheye: Double vision when exporting raw files with adobe premiere pro raw files.

Hi.

I'd really appreciate any help I can get with this.  I got the R5C with dual fisheye lens so I can record my kids growing up and watch them when I'm older.  I started with 4k format since I didn't have a CF Express card and when I export those videos on Adobe Premiere Pro with the Canon VR Plugin, they work fine.  I move the files to my quest 3 and I can view them in normal 180 just fine.

I got the CF Express card, upped the battery to record in 8k and recorded a bunch.  When I export the raw files in Adobe and move them to the quest 3, I get double vision and its unwatchable as it causes so much eye strain.  The left and right sides won't converge properly to make a single 3d view.  I tried adjusting the Disparity/Adjustment on the VR Projections panel but it then converts the exported file into a side by side video and when I switch to viewing SBS on the quest, I still get the improper convergence.  I tried setting it to -1, 10, -10 but it takes over 15 minutes every time to export on a 3 second clip on my laptop with a 3070 card so it's getting exhausting.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I'd really appreciate any help.

On a side note, I get a TON of noise on the exported clips.  I read about Neat Video and was wondering how much it can really help with it.

Hi chadzemoto,

I'm sorry to hear you are getting double vision when you try to view your 8k clips. You could try using our EOS VR Utility to correct the misalignment in the images. The current version is available HERE. Once you are on the web page click on the Software & Drivers button and the current version is EOS VR Utility 1.7.0. Information on the corrections that can be done through the EOS VR Utility is available in the manual HERE.

Through Canon support we only have information on products and software made by Canon. For assistance with non-Canon software like Neat Video we would recommend contacting the maker of that software.
