I’m trying to get my 6D to connect and work with Camera Connect on my iPad running 17.4.1. I had an older iPad, I could connect the camera and tat iPad via wi-fi. I recently upgraded to a newer iPad. I cannot get the new iPad to “see” or connect to the wi-fi signal from the camera.
This brings me to my second question. I understand that firmware for the 6D has been updated to 1.1.9. But going to the Canon support page, selecting “downloads”, I can find items such as EOS Utility and DPP, but not the updated 6D firmware or installation instructions.
What all am I missing here? Thanks in advance!

About your second question, choose a different or older OS. I have never ever seen a firmware update when I choose Linux...

Windows 10 or macOS Mojave have the download file for 1.1.9.
