DPP fails to convert and save

GreatWhite
Apprentice

Canon DPP 4.8.30 (on Windows 10 OS):
When trying to convert and save an image (single or many), I get the Convert-and-save window displayed on my screen but nothing is actually  happening!
The Convert and Save window seems to be stuck right there and can't be closed. I'm forced to close it through Task Manager. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling DPP and the problem still exists. It doesn't matter if the image I'm trying to convert and save is RAW or jpeg, It just doesn't work. Batch Process does not work, too. Same issue.
Please help.

Greetings,

For our benefit...

Windiws 10 Home or Pro?

Are you trying to save in the same directory as the original files?  If yes, try another folder or directory.

Hi Rick,

I'm using Windows 10 Home.

Tried saving to different folders. No succsess. Problem still exsists.

I Googled it. Apparentley i'm not the only one facing such issue.

Appreciate your help!

G

Maybe 4.9 resolves it.
