According to the specs, the HP Slim desktop 290-p0046 does have a memory card reader. You should just be able to take the card out of your camera and insert into your computer's card slot. After putting your car into the computer and see if it's listed like any other device.

Sorry, you really need to write in complete sentences and tell us what is going on, and what is happening/not happening.

kvbardley---when you say I need to write in complete sentences---Are you saying my response of 5/7 9:47 isn't understandable.....???......This thread shows there should be more than 12 postings....I'm not seeing all of them......Maybe that's why you're saying I need to write in complete sentences........Let me expound a little....I have a Canon Powershot SX 160 IS (Purchased 2013)..... I upgraded my win OS from 10 to 11......When I last tried to upload a couple of pictures from the camera onto my computer, I get a pop-up saying the camera is not being recognized.....I went onto the Canon website to see if maybe I needed to upgrade the driver.....The "self-detection" process on the Canon website recognizes everything about my camera and the new OS Win 11.....BUT--when it gets to step 3-----It says----

Sooooooooo that's it.....Is there any solution other than buying a new camera....???.......

Your responses are choppy and incomplete.

For example, I think you said that you had borrowed a card reader and it did not work. What happened when you put the SD card in the reader?

You should not need drivers or a new camera. Have you tried a new cable?

One more thing. It is unclear whether your computer has a card reader built in or not. Can you send a picture of the front of your computer?

You don't seem to be understanding or answering the questions we are asking you. You've gotten a lot of advice.
