Most lower end video editing software, like Corel Videostudio, can't read Canon HDR, and CLOG3 files. Does Canon make a format converter that can be used to reformat these file types to the default Canon MP4 file format? Something like Canon's Dpp4 software for stile. I could then tale that file into third party video editing software to color grade it.

Davinci Resolve has a free version that may meet your needs.

Just sussing out my options at this point. I may just use Technicolor Cenistyle to keep it simple.

Unfortunately DaVinci Resolve support confirmed that only the pay through the nose version works with clog. The file shows up as an audio file. Major bummer

Why not capture in BT.709 then? If you want to use a Log workflow, you'll definitely need proper editing software.
