For a long time I've relied on the Camera Connect app's bluetooth remote controller function when using my R5. But now the app has started regularly disconnecting from the camera, and it also seems to take longer for the camera to become connectable.
I've tried deleting the connection on both the camera and the phone (an iPhone 12 running iOS 18.4.1) and re-pairing the two. Right away it seemed to help a little, but now the issue is back, and the connection is regularly lost while the camera is still active.
Any suggestions what to try?

Hello,
It sounds like you're dealing with some intermittent Bluetooth connectivity issues between your Canon R5 and the Camera Connect app. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
Update Firmware and Software:
Ensure both your Canon R5's firmware and the Camera Connect app are up-to-date. Sometimes Bluetooth issues can be fixed with new firmware or app updates. Check the Canon website for any new firmware updates for the R5 and the App Store for any updates to Camera Connect
Best Regards
