Hi — I used to be able to import photos from my camera (EOS RP) to the camera connect app on my iphone ( I believe only through bluetooth) and now it doesn't work. It often shows that it is bluetooth connected but when I click import, it says switching to faster wifi then seems to do all the steps and get stuck on connecting to camera. Ive tried restarting the connection multiple times on both the camera and the phone and it still does the same thing. Super frustrating because I have no other way to export the photos from my device. Does anybody have a fix

CanonGrl214,
These aren't a fix, so much as workarounds. I can think of three options:
1) Did you get a USB cable with your camera? If you didn't, your manual should probably tell you which one is the correct one. If you plug that cable into your camera, and the other end into a USB port on your computer, and turn your camera on, the computer will read the camera as a device and it will show up on your file explorer. You can copy and paste files from your camera into a folder you create on your computer.
I personally use the free EOS Utility software that Canon provides to download images from my camera to my computer. It's nice because it automatically creates a folder on my computer organized by shooting date. Again it uses a USB cable. I start the program first and then turn on my camera. The EOS Utility software is unique to your model of camera, so you will need to go to Canon's Support page fr the RP and after telling it what kind operating system your computer uses, download that particular version of the EOS Utility app.
2) You can buy an SD card reader. Take the card out of your camera, insert it into the card reader and plug the card reader into one of the computer's USB ports. The computer will read the card reader as another device. Just make sure the reader will read your type of card (SDHC or SDXC, etc.)
3) I personally use a software program called Camera Connect and Control to do my wireless shooting when using my tablet. This is a paid app that you can get on the Apple Store. It's nice because immediately after shooting, a thumbnail of your picture shows up on the tablet or phone, which you can download to your Gallery.

Have you downloaded the latest version of the app?
Try clearing all communication settings on the camera and restart the pairing process. I had problems and that corrected my issues.
