I was just prompted to update EOS Utility 3; 2 updates got me to version 3.18. Prior to these updates, when I would plug in my camera (6D), EOS Utility would launch automatically. With the 3.18 update, EOS Utility no longer launches automatically. Is this a new “feature” in the software, or did I break something.? TIA!

Hi W7lej1,
The EOS Utility auto launch is not a setting through the software itself. The software is designed to be manually launched when you want to use it.
Operating systems can have settings to automatically launch programs when an associated device is connected. We would recommend contacting Apple for information on what setting to adjust so that when your computer detects your camera is connected the operating system then launches the EOS Utility.
