The EOS R7 I ordered came today. the battery that came with it was an LP-E6NH. I have several LP-E6 batteries that I use in my 7D Mark II. Can I use the LP-E6 batteries in my EOS R7 or do I need the newer LP-E6NH batteries?

Yes, but you won't get as much run time as with the LPE6NH. We use all of the LP-E6 series in our R5 and R6.
