Battery left Coupler right
A picture is worth a thousand words! These devices are both genuine Canon products. Canon does not provide data rating for the coupler, unlike the battery pack.
A quest for information:
Why do these devices have different DTC contact combinations? My EOS R7 doesn't seem to care.
Thank you!

You are experiencing issues with your Canon camera and battery grip. While the EOS R7 may not be affected by the different DTC contact combinations, these variations exist between different Canon battery grips.

Greetings,
I was curious about the question so I did some research. The DR-E6P Is rated at 10 volts and 6 amps.. The terminals are different based on power delivery and communication. Couplers don't have the same communication requirements as a battery. They are designed for power delivery. Batteries communicate with the camera differently which is why the terminals are different.
