Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control compatible with EOS R6 Mark II & R8?

I'd like to replace my cable remote with a wireless remote.  Reason is that the only time I seem to use it is in a dark sky area - switching between two cameras - and locating that tiny jack in total darkness is getting tiring.  

So I'm looking around the Canon website and I see the BR-E1 Wireless remote... but I don't see anything about which cameras this is compatible with.  Online with a Google search, I found an article from 2017 and not much else, so that doesn't help much.  

Does anyone know if this remote will work with both the R6 Mk ll and the R8?
