I have a Rebel T6i and it is not clear from the manual if I can start video with a corded
cable release, or a cordless release. I have had the camera for some time and I have
not really attempted video with it. I have an XA11 for that. But now I want to do simultaneous
video recording with both the XA11 and the T6i. (I and do compositing in Final Cut Pro later).
I am considering Wireless Remote Control BR-E1
It would be nice to be able just to speak with someone directly about this rather than use
this type of forum.
Thanks to anyone who has read up to this point, for your time and attention

Thank you; I did also find a reasonably priced wireless remote release for it.
