Vixia HF G20 Power Button

Hi there. I use the Vixia HF G20 for sports videography. I used it for a game recently and the power button worked normally. I try to use it again a couple of days later and the power button does not work properly. I've changed batteries and plugged the unit in with the power cord. The only way to turn it on is by pressing the camera/play button. The only way to turn the unit off is to unplug it or remove the battery. Thoughts anyone??

Unfortunately, because your camcorder's power button isn't working, the camcorder will require repair to correct this issue.
