Up until recently, I have been able to have audio come through my camcorder. However, I have attemped to connect three mics to my lightly used VIXIA HFG21 camcorder, including the small shotgun mic that came with the device. Unfortunately, none are working. I even bought a new lav thinking the old one was broke. I attempted to step through the menu to get it working, however, that did not work either. The camera is roughly a year old. Any guidance is welcome.
