I have a VIXIA HF R700. I inserted a 32gb SD card into the slot for Christmas day recording. We did not "Initialize" the card. I did not understand that this was required. I did check it to make sure that it didn't have any recordings on it before using it and it was blank. We recorded a few hours and I can see the recordings and play them on the camera touch screen. They seem to be in MP4 format. My question is 1.) how do I move the recordings to the SD card or 2.) how do I upload them to a PC? I would prefer to copy them to the SD card and simply store it in the cabinet with the other Christmas memories. From what I have read the HF R700 does not allow copying the recordings to the SD Card. 3.) Is this the case? 4.)Will it allow me to transfer the recordings to my pc and if so how is this done?
