How might I transfer video from my ZR65MC camcorder to my computer?

Hello Canon... I hope that you might be able to help us.   We are trying to transfer video from DV video tapes taken on our ZR65MC camcorder, to our computers or other devices that would eventually enable editing, sharing, etc.  

We do not have firewire ports on our computers (1 MacBook and 1 HP PC), nor are we able to modify these computers to change out or add new hardware.   

Do you have suggestions as to how we might move, transfer, copy, upload, download, or convert this video content to our computers?

If you are looking to connect the camcorder to your computer to transfer video from the tape, a firewire connection is required.  This is not possible to transfer over a USB connection.  USB connections only allow still images to be transferred from the memory card.
