Hi guys! First time posting on this forum. I'm looking for some help. I recently purchased a HF R800 camcorder to use for self filming my whitetail deer hunts and I bought a LANC wired remote. Once I recieved both I quickly noticed the LANC plug was much smaller than the available inputs on the camcorder. Should I return the camcorder because it cannot use the LANC controller, or can I buy another wire to connect the LANC remote to the camcorder?
If I need to buy a new camcorder which one would you recommend? Looking for a camcorder that opperates well in low light, doesn't hit the bank, and supports the LANC remote.
