Canon DC95 How do I transfer my videos to MacBook?

Hi, I am struggling to get my videos from my canon dc95 camcorder to my macbook to edit them, can anyone help?

The DC95 records directly to recordable DVD media.  It also only has composite video output (no HDMI).  So here would be the only options:

1. A DVD player that would connect to your MacBook.  IMPORTANT: Recordable DVDs are complex and most consumer units that record to DVD use a format that cannot be copied from.   There may exist software to get around that.

2. External hardware that could record a signal from composite video.
