All of a sudden I can't upload a couple of photos to my computer (actually to Dropbox). Haven't changed the cord to connect the camera to the computer. Have changed the batteries and also rebooted the computer.
Just spoke to Canon Canada and they helped me download the software and install that. Everything is working as needed. Thanks for all your efforts here.
Under Imaging Devices, it shows 'Canon Powershot A550' and then 'This device is working properly'. There seems to be 'pictures' of a printer and a camera. There are no folders named Ohter Devices or Unknown Devices.
Tried all that and finally found a 'portable device'. Uninstalled it, etc. Re-installed. It says I have the most up to date driver (MTP USB device) for my portable device. Still won't work.
