Lately I've been having some unusual issues. When I try to edit photos (not taken by me, but photos that I've downloaded from different websites) the Convert and Save function doesn't seem to work right. After I click Convert and Save, and select th...
I've been using it for a couple of weeks and like it fairly well. The only thing I'm not a fan of is when I go to crop, the default setting is 3:2. I always prefer "Free" because I am an OCD control freak. Anyway, is there a way to change the crop...
I've had this lens for a while, using it on my 650D, and I'm not loving the results. I'm finding that at almost all focal lengths, the edges are just plain blurry. I know that few lenses are sharp throughout the frame, and I don't expect "L" qualit...
A few years back, I owned the IS II version of the 55-250, but was never completely satisfied with the IQ. I loved the focal length versatility and thought about it often after replacing it (kind of like an ex-girlfriend, but I digress...) Now I'm s...

I'm going to try one more thing: tweak the output image quality to see if that makes a difference in the output file. Should have thought of it sooner.
I just uninstalled and reinstalled the software (FWIW, I'm running Windows 10) to see if it would make a difference. It didn't. I've been sitting here messing around with it, trying different things. I first noticed this when one of the pics that ...
Just tried it again. I took a stock photo, cropped it, made a few adjustments, clicked "Save As" under a different jpeg file name to preserve the original. When I retrieved it in the destination folder, my cropping was non-existent.
I tried to do a "Save" and "Save File As." My changes (cropping, color adjustments, etc), were not saved. Besides, I've been using the "Convert and Save" method for over a decade and only now is it screwing up. I've only noticed this since I starte...
