OK, obviously this is a defective product and I'm going to return it and post a bad review. Too bad, the price was good but the data sheeet misleading its actual capabilities.

anybody has an update? Can someone manage to scan to PC from the operation panel of a Pixma TS6520 ? This Pixma product is very disapointing. Its software and user guide are not user friendly.

Thank you all. This was confusing because only the scangear application supports scan resolution higher than 600 dpi. The control panel on the TS6520 does not go above 600 dpi, neither does the Canon Print application installed by default.

Sorry I was out of town last week and could not do the testing, but now I'm back, I've installed the new driver but still do not have an option to scan above 600 dpi.Even using the Operation Panel, the scanning resolution for photo is 75 dpi, 150 dpi...
