Running Intel core 12th generation. I can try several more ports at back of the tower (under desk, not so easy for 80 year old). The EOS utility is working fine, but with the weird message still showing up. If message doesn't go away with other ports...
Already rebooted, it's a custom built desktop, Micro Center built it for me, knowing primary use was to be processing large photos and sharing them (other than usual email, Google searches, etc). I'm 80, but not quite a luddite (yet).
