Thanks for your reply. I’ll test this again with the BR-E1 remote. My first test resulted in 4 shots when AEB was set for 3 because I must have held down a bit too long. I didn’t test again when it failed the first try.

The easiest solution is to get a second remote; otherwise, you have to repair the remote when you switch cameras. If you don't use the M50 much then it might not be a big deal.
