hi, I have the solution. Cisco uses both CDP and LLDP discovery protocols, my switch only had CDP enabled. Enabling LLDP fixed the problem.Thank you.

Hi, I have the same issue on a Cisco 3850 48u switch.  The camera powers up then switches off again. The switch is 802.3at compliant.
