EOS R5 Video Mode AF stops working or freezes when used as a webcam

Anyone here experiencing similar problems to this where the AF stops working during video. I use the R5 often as a conference cam connected via CamLink4K and the AF will stop responding on occasions. Running the latest firmware.

The camera is powered using Canon's continuous power kit and connected to the computer via HDMI out. The lens is the RF 28-70
