I noticed unless I missed something, that after the vixia HF G40 the predecessors no longer do AVCHD format. You can only use MP4.

I have Windows 10 64-bit and in my device manager it shows my Canon vixia hv40 but it says there are no drivers installed. I cannot find them to use them to capture video from my tapes to my drive. Please advise. I want to redo this be cause an exter...

I never seen this museum of Canon camcorder line.

Why did canon stop using AVCHD format?

Windows sees my Canon vixia hv40 and device manager but there are no drivers for it.
