MB2720 changed from network to USB, cannot scan from panel

I just removed the device from the network. Plugged in a USB cable. PC can print just fine. However, I cannot scan. Attempting to scan from the panel yields nothing, no messages at all. The IJ Scan Utility will only show the old network device. ...
