Canon Community

I have a imageCLASS MF269dw 3in1 printer.   I cannot fax.  I CALLED YESTERDAY AND THE PERSON SAID IT WAS EITHER THE PHONE JACK OR THE PHONE WIRE.   The phone company came and everything is working properly.     How do I fix the problem?   thank you
