Myself I get awesome low light photos with my R7 love them i had the same outlook until i tried and wow!! amazing like i say bought it with the lens kit 18-150 even better
Myself as well this 800mm f11 is by far one amazing lens period I have won bald eagle awards with it. if in doubt buy it great lens. with the R7 you cannot beat the photos that this will produce (amazing period)
