I’ve upgraded the GP-02 from 1.0.8 to 2.0.2. Still isn’t recognized by either the 7D or the WFT. I’ll just return it. Disappointing as it’s really the only Canon-branded gps that would work. So far haven’t found any 3D party alternatives either.

Thanks. Yes, I have v2.0.6 installed on the camera. I wonder if the WFT-E5A and GP-E2 have updateable firmware.

Solved... The camera was set to wireless master.When I changed it to Disable, ETTL became available on the MT-24EX.
