Passphrase not an option...?

*Canon TS6120

had to get a new modem. so all printer settings were reset.

 

found the router, but won't give me the "passphrase" option via "manual connect"

 

any tips??

Hi Elou,

 

Some routers (like Hitron and Arris) do not allow for the manual input of the wireless password.

 

Using the "cabless method" of connecting the printer will also fail.

 

In this case, please use the WPS method of connecting your printer.  Please note, some router have WPS disabled by default.  Please view the routers documentation or contact your internet service provider for the steps needed to enable WPS on your router.
