PIXMA TS9521Ca How to print on cardstock

gwynzimmer

I am trying to print cardstock from the rear tray of my Canon Pixma TS9521cA but it keeps saying I don’t have the correct paper loaded.  I changed it on the printer to cardstock but my print screen from my MacBook doesn’t have the option of cardstock so it won’t print.  Is there any way to fix this problem?  Is it the software on my Mac?  It’s always updated but I have an old version of Word and that’s where I’m printing from.  I bought this printer to specifically print cardstock.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi gwynzimmer,

Have you tried printing from Preview?  With your item open using Preview, click on File and Print.

Go to the Media & Quality section and then Media Type.  Does Card Stock appear as an option from that drop down list?

No it doesn’t have the option for cardstock.  I had to turn off the print function that says to match what’s in your tray and what you are printing. That way it will print every time.
