vixia HF G20 battery compatibility with G50

Hi Gang...New poster here, so apologies if this has been asked before. I've used a G20 for 10 years, and recently my pullout viewfinder stopped working. It doesn't seem like repair is a viable option, so I've ordered a new G50. My question...is the G20 battery compatible with the G50. Thanks in advance...Bruce

Hi Gang...My g50 just showed up and the batteries are not compatible. Too Bad. Regards...Bruce
