I attach my Westcott FJ80 II to my Canon and make sure all the settings are correct. Go to take a photo, and the flash fires. It will not fire again after that first photo. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check with the manufacturer if there's a firmware update. There have been multiple reports in the forum that the Westcott flash system was incompatible. With some of Canon's EOS R series cameras.

It might honestly be the flash itself. I just purchased this and I’m regretting purchasing it. Mine will stop firing halfway into my shoot because the mount on it doesn’t stay connected to my hotshoe.
