My Speedlite EL-5 flash does not synchronize with my Godox X3c trigger... How can I synchronize them or are they definitely not compatible?

PS: I have updated the firmwares of my Canon R7, my Speelite EL-5 and my Godox X3c trigger

You have to use a Canon trigger with the Canon Speedlites. Even though the Godox and Canon both use the same frequency band they use a different “language” to communicate.

You need a Canon trigger such as the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E10 if you have a camera with a multifunction accessory shoe, or you can use the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT. For cameras with the multifunction accessory shoe you will need to use the AD-E1 adapter to use the ST-E3-RT.
