My Fear Finally has Happened to my 600EX-RT

That gel holder that would never stay put final gone missing at the last weekend's state volleyball championship.  $30 for just the holder and additional for the missing gel.  Sigh...

Maybe it is better to revert back to the good old Scotch taping cinegel method. 😞

For me, gels in a small ziploc velcro'd to the flash head. 🙂

To be honest the flash gel holder is not something I've used but it does seem a bit prone to falling off. I'm sticking with my Honl speedstraps and gels from rosco / lee with velcro tabs on the edge. Also means I can put the honl grids on over the gels too.

I've turned off the gel detection features in my 600EX-RT flashes too, P.Fn 05 set to 1.
