Is TT560 Speedlite incompatible with EOS RP?

I can't seem to get my TT560 speedlite to fire with my RP. The "test" function on the speedlite is working just fine.

Anyone know?

Does your camera need to enable flash in oe of the red menus? That flash is pretty basic. Might not be compatible.

Hi cmorachnick,

Thanks for checking in with us. While the TT560 Speedlite might list as being compatible, it is not a flash that we make, and we aren't able to test every accessory on the market. We can only guarantee that the Canon EX series Speedlites are compatible with your camera.

That said, you might be able to get the flash to fire if you manually set the flash output. Check the documentation on your flash for details about how to do that.

The TT560 flash is not a Canon product. It is sold under the Neewer brand name, Have you tried contacting them?
