The watcher

While outside waiting for an Oriole to return, I saw this little guy peering out of the basement walkout.  Earlier in the week I was moving plants outside after winter and while the basement door was closed but the walkout was open, a mother cat decided under the walkout stairs was the perfect place to move her family.

Thank you Edward!  As often is the case with photography, the more compelling images aren't the ones you originally planned to capture.

Yes, I agree, Rodger.  In this case it also helps if one likes cats!
