Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS)

Third time's the charm. After 2 previous attempts that didn't go as planned due to "learning experiences", I went back out Saturday night and gave it a final go. I found a better location, set up and went for it.

Processing the image was definitely an exercise in learning, as it's so much different than the DSO images I've done so far, but I think I got there in the end.

That's one of the best images I have seen of the comet so far! Well done.  I never got to see the thing as I am too far north (I live down under) and we had some cloud.  I will just have to wait another century or so to see the darned thing again!

cheers, TREVOR
