Pohutukawas in bloom LR.jpg

This is our local 'Christmas Tree' the native Pohutukawa.  The red and green are absolutely natures expression of the colours we associate with the season.  For the northern hemisphere the Poinsettia, but the Pohutukawa is everywhere along the coastal regions of NZ's North Island, so you can image how that looks when they are all in bloom - that is beginning now, a bit earler than usual.

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;

Could we see a closeup of the Pohutukawa? Interesting tree.
