Rise and Shine

Out on a early morning call with our friends from Anaheim Fire and Rescue, Orange County Fire Authority and Fullerton Fire Department on the scene of a residential fire in Anaheim, Ca which gave me a chance to put the RF 70-200 f2.8 to work. I don’t use this lens very often as most the time I am able to get close enough with the 24-70 f2.8.

However the 70–200 does a wonderful job of compressing the background and drawing out the subject. Both lenses are wonderful in low light and as I mentioned before I do not use any flash when shooting at night I always prefer to play with the light around me.
