On Cloud 9 (Mar 2015) - “Selfie” with the Mule (my motorcycle!) at the Uyuni Salt Flats in Southern Bolivia. In 2014/5, I did a road trip of app. 28,000 miles (45,000 km) on my motorcycle through the Americas, north and south. The journey took me from Washington, DC to Alaska and the West Coast, and then through South America all the way down to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. This photo was taken with my PowerShot G12, my go-to camera when on my extreme motorcycle rides. And being by myself, I set the camera on the ground (i.e., the salt) of the salt flats and used the self-timer.
