Morning at Dark Hedges

I recently came back from a small photo group tour in Northern Island.   One of our first stops was at the well known spot called the Dark Hedges, a road lined with 250 year old beech trees.  I shot many photos here.  These trees have a beautiful slight bluis gray tone.  While photographing we suddenly were treated to a sudden warm light, wich changed the scene entirely in a matter of minutes.  Here is a shot just before the warm light appeared.

That is a very inviting image that looks great as is and also witha horizontal flip. I very much enjoyed it. Thank you for posting it.

Thanks for your kind words!   I guess one of the things about being a photographer is that we take the time to notice things. Even small details.  I tend to look at the world as a "living camera".  Always framing things I see in my mind.

I think you meant Northern Ireland?  Or am I missing some local nomenclature perhaps?  The MS screen saver was one that make me look the place up and long to travel there someday.  Glad you got the chance and thanks for sharing your great pic.
